Axion Studios, LLC (hereinafter referred to as “AXION,” “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Drift-R™ mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information about users of the Service. It applies to information we collect when you use Drift-R™, when you contact us, or when we otherwise interact with you in connection with the Service.

2. Age Restrictions
There shall be no minor (under 18 years of age) use of the Services or participate in the Activities without written parent or guardian authorization. A minor’s parent or legal guardian must provide consent and accept the Terms of Use on the minor’s behalf (and, where applicable, we have verified and recorded that authorization). You must be at least 13 years of age or older to create an account or use the Services (you can serve as a verifier). You must be at least 16 years of age or older with a current, valid Driver’s License that you may be requested to provide (issued by the jurisdiction where you reside) to create an account and use the Services (with proof of valid health/medical insurance coverage, you may participate as a driver). The event organizers or venue may require drivers to be over 18 years of age.
If we learn that a User under 18 has created an account without their parent or legal guardian consent or provided personal information, we will take reasonable steps to delete that information and close the account. If you believe that someone under 18 has provided us with personal information, please contact Support@Drift-R.com.
3. Information We Collect
We collect information in three main ways: (a) you provide it to us; (b) we collect it automatically when you use the Service; and (c) we receive it from other sources such as event organizers or verifiers.
4. Information You Provide:
- Account and profile information. Name, username/handle, email address, phone number, password or login credentials, country/region, and any profile details you choose to add (e.g., driver bio, vehicle description, team affiliation).
- Subscription and transaction information. Plan type (monthly/quarterly), purchase and renewal dates, and general transaction details. Payment card data is handled by our third-party payment processors; we do not store full credit card numbers.
- Support and communications. Messages you send to Support@Drift-R.com or other emails, bug reports, feedback, or other communications.
- Content you submit. Photos, videos, comments, messages, run titles/descriptions, team logos, and other content you upload or post in connection with the Service.
- Event participation data. Information you provide when registering for events or competitions (e.g., event selection, class/vehicle info, confirmation of eligibility status), and any signed Event Participation Agreement.
5. Information Collected Automatically:
When you use Drift-R™, we may automatically collect:
- Device and usage information. Device type, operating system, app version, language, mobile network information, IP address, device identifiers, and log data (including timestamps, pages/screens viewed, features used, and in-app actions).
- Approximate location. IP-based and, if you allow it, GPS-based location data to verify event presence, support session validation, and improve route/session features.
- Telemetry and run data. Depending on your device and settings, we may collect telemetry associated with your sessions, such as:

- (1) GPS coordinates and path;
- (2) Speed;
- (3) Acceleration/G-forces;
- (4) Yaw, angle, or similar metrics;
- (5) Throttle and brake events (where available);
- (6) Time and duration of runs; and
- (7) Other performance metrics supported by your device or integrations.
- Cookies and similar technologies (web). When you use our website or web-based components, we use strictly necessary cookies and similar technologies to operate the Service, maintain security, and remember limited preferences (such as language settings). We do not use analytics or advertising cookies, and we do not use cookies for cross-site tracking.
- Do Not Track. Your browser may offer you a “Do Not Track” (DNT) setting. However, at this time, we do not track.
6. Information from Other Sources
We may receive information about you from:
- Event organizers and facilities using Drift-R™ tools or sharing participant lists/results;
- Verifiers or other users who provide ratings, flags, or reports regarding your sessions or conduct;
- Third-party platforms (e.g., app stores, payment processors, analytics tools), consistent with their own terms and privacy policies.
7. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- Provide and maintain the Service.
- (1) Create and manage accounts;
- (2) Process subscriptions and transactions;
- (3) Operate core features such as sessions, scoring, leaderboards, teams, and achievements.
- Scoring, telemetry, and competition integrity.
- (1) Compute ELO/Bracket mechanics out of the Terms of Use;
- (2) Verify presence and validity of sessions;
- (3) Detect and investigate suspected cheating, tampering, or “gaming the system.”
- Communicate with you.
- (1) Send service-related messages (e.g., account notices, transactional emails, policy updates, security alerts);
- (2) Respond to your questions or support requests.
- (D) Safety, security, and enforcement.
- (1) Monitor for, detect, prevent, and respond to abuse, fraud, unauthorized access, and other violations of our Terms of Use or our Community Guidelines;
- (2) Apply our enforcement ladder (warnings, content removal, feature limits, suspensions, bans).
- Analytics and improvement.
- (1) Understand how users interact with the Service;
- (2) Improve features, performance, and user experience;
- (3) Develop new products and services.
- Marketing and promotion (if enabled).
- (1) Send you emails or in-app messages about features, events, or promotions, where permitted by law and your preferences;
- (2) Use anonymized or aggregated data (e.g., best runs, general stats) in marketing or public materials.
- Legal and compliance.
- (1) Comply with applicable laws, regulations, and legal processes;
- (2) Enforce our Terms of Use and other agreements;
- (3) Protect our rights, property, Users, and the public. We may combine information we collect from different sources for these purposes.
9. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including:
- As long as you maintain an account with us;
- For the duration necessary to provide the Service and support;
- For a reasonable time thereafter, for backup, archival, audit, and legal/compliance purposes.
- Telemetry and run data. We generally retain detailed telemetry and raw run-level data for competition integrity, dispute resolution, and anti-cheat analysis, after which we may aggregate or de-identify it and retain only aggregated or anonymous records.”
- We may retain information longer where required by law or to resolve disputes or enforce our agreements.
10. Security
We use reasonable physical, technical, and administrative measures designed to protect information from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
If you believe that your account or interaction with the Service is no longer secure, please contact us immediately at Support@Drift-R.com.
11. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have certain rights or choices regarding your information. At a minimum, we provide the following controls:
- Access and update.
- You can access and update certain account and profile information directly in the app or by contacting Support@Drift-R.com.
- Deletion/account closure. You may request deletion of your account by contacting us. We may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., to maintain competition integrity or enforce our Terms of Use).
- Marketing communications. You can opt out of marketing emails by using the “unsubscribe” link in the message or contacting Support@Drift-R.com. We may still send you non-marketing messages (e.g., service, transactional, or security notices).
- Device permissions. You can control certain access (e.g., location services, push notifications) via your device settings. Doing so may affect certain features of the Service.
If you are located in a jurisdiction that provides additional privacy rights (for example, certain U.S. states or other countries), you may contact Support@Drift-R.com with “Privacy Request” in the subject line, and we will respond consistent with applicable law.
12. International Users
The Service is operated from the United States, and information may be processed and stored in the U.S. and other countries that may not have the same data protection laws as your home jurisdiction. By using the Service, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States and other locations where our service providers are located. If we specifically expand into regions with additional legal requirements (for example, the EU/EEA/UK), we may provide region-specific notices or updates to this Policy.
13. Third-Party Links and Services
The Service may contain links to third-party websites, apps, or services (including ticketing, streaming, or social platforms). This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third parties. Your use of third-party services is governed by their own privacy policies and terms.
14. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice, for example by updating the “Effective Date” at the top of this Policy, posting a notice in the app, or sending you an email. Your continued use of the Service after any changes become effective signifies your acceptance of the updated Policy.
